Cafe

With plans for a three-baseplate-wide display, I needed a couple more buildings to line the street. I worked on a basic footprint of 8 x 16, which allows for easy rearranging of buildings alongside baseplates.

Below is a cafe, built on an upper storey above another business, a transport company. The side panels from the Cargo Truck were easily modified into building walls.

Below is the view inside. The cafe wasn't furnished yet at this stage, beyond a white door frame representing a full-height drinks refrigerator. The transport company has a desk, computer, and filing cabinets. The wall panel on the left was taken from an airport set, and has a sticker on the inside with details of city names and times - standing in for a trucking schedule.

The logo piece on the roof of the Cargo Truck made a nice awning over the front door.
